With a pleasant walk, you are welcome to enjoy charming historical streets of the Buda Castle and panoramic view of the Danube in a relaxed area surrounded by protected landmark buildings and famous monuments of the Royal Palace and the Mathias Church.

The building dates back to 1696, when it was the first hotel in Hungary and its baroque roof survives. It served as an inn, tavern and restaurant which remained opened for several centuries. To maintain its heritage, the original baroque roof has been preserved. You wouldn’t know a luxury hotel was hiding behind these historical walls.

BIRTHDAY DINNERS

Our restaurant offers for birthday lunches and dinners traditional Hungarian meals, flavours just like in grandma’s kitchen. In case of organised celebration, surprise party or larger reservations, our colleagues will create a personalised menu accompanied by great wines. Do not worry about the cake either, choose your fabulous cake from our confectionary. Celebrate in a cosy environment in one of the oldest restaurants in the Buda Castle, in Pest-Buda Bistro. If hosting a larger event, ask for our event venue offers.

WEDDINGS

We organise small family wedding lunches or dinners, providing delicious Hungarian meals and wines. As an event venue, we can seat 55 guests, including 26 in the side hall what is possible to rent alone. If you are planning a smaller wedding lunch, dinner or a wedding reception, like Hungarian flavours, traditional Hungarian dishes all that together in a cosy, nice environment than our restaurant is the perfect choice for you. Over our bistro, we also operate a design boutique hotel in the building, where we provide accommodation for the newly weds and family. Additionally, in our confectionary, we create amazing, one of a kind wedding cakes in regular and gluten-lactose-sugar free variations.
